Emptiness

In life there are people who touch you in such a way that their absence is acutely felt. Counting the hours the minutes the seconds until you can speak to them, be with them again. The same can be said of internet relationships. But my question is what do you do when the person signs off leaves an emptiness inside? I wish I knew.
